Hello again, friends, neighbors and lovers of pie and hot air balloons!

Re-introducing the Eat a Pie, Help Me Fly campaign, right in time for the Holiday Season! Too busy to make that apple pie yourself to bring to Aunt Ethel's for Thanksgiving this year? Why not order one from aspiring aeronaut Morgan Calderini, who will not only craft you a fresh homemade pie using the best ingredients, but you will also have the joy and satisfaction in knowing that you are supporting her quest to attain her pilots license?

Whole Foods Schmole Foods! You can't get any more local and fresh than this, and all for a good cause! Baked from scratch, none of that crisco shorting here. Fresh ingredients, made by hand!

Morgan will be crafting only 20 of each pie, so place your order to avoid the dread that procrastination creates once you realize you'll be bringing a Stop & Shop pie to your in-laws this year.

Pick up will be Tuesday 24th and Wednesday the 25th between 6-9pm. I live off Smith Hill about 5 seconds from the state house. Your confirmation email will include directions. Please let me know in your email if this won't work for you.

Pies cost $20 each. If you can't decide and need three pies, let's make a special deal, $50.

I spent all day on the phone today. As it turns out, nothing, even ink will stick to silicone. Between fabric suppliers, silkscreen tech help lines, and balloon makers I came away feeling as though there is a chance of finding an ink that will work for my fabric. There are some great people out there willing to go out of their way to help and test theories. Many thanks, I will include a list shortly of these folks.

Thank you to everyone who helped to support my balloon through buying my work. After a very long day I made $1200 to put towards my balloon. This money in addition to the other I have saved will allow me to buy the fabric for my balloon. Things are coming together.

Next Saturday, a week from today I have a table at the Student and Alumni Art Sale. Over 3500 people attend the sale. I will be selling my prints, and assorted other balloon items. My goal is to make $2000 to put towards the building of my hot air balloon. The sale takes place from 10-4 on Benefit Street in Providence. Please stop by, my table is near Carr Haus.
